awesome product and i just have no matter what. one of the best upgrades

Posted by Steven Gonzales on 27th Sep 2016

This servo saver is absolutely worth every dollar it cost. The truck turns like it's slicing through butter and it does fit the rampage XT-E truck. The spring bring relocated to the servo arm is a genius idea. Adding the ball bearings in the servo instead of the bushings that come stock make this upgrade a must have! Now if the communication of this website was better and would communicate on when product would be Available that would be much appreciated. It's like you have to take chances on things working because the only we way to communicate is via email. My last few emails have not been answered. Basically when other products will be available. Everything I have bought from 7075 has been outstanding just wish the customer services was the same.

    Not designed for Gas vehicles

I purchased this for the Rampage XB. The coiled spring servo savor arm that connects to the steering servo horn is an awkward size. I tried both the Hitec HS-5765 (1/4 scale) and Savox SV-0236 (1/5 scale) servos. I was unable to adjust the servo savor arm with either to a point where the vehicle was able to turn to the left and right. The best I could get was left and straight or right and straight. I even flipped the servos but that did not help. I purchased the servo saver mount that you sell and that fixed my problem. The mount is for the Hitec HS-5765 servo only, the Savox or normal 1/5 scale servos will not fit the mount. This product works well on the XB if you also use the additional servo mount and a Hitec HS-5765 servo. I believe if you made a longer servo savor arm for gas vehicle applications it would eliminate the need for the servo mount and allow the use of various servos such as 1/4 and 1/5 scale servos. The stock servo connector seems to be the correct length but it is not spring loaded and would not protect your steering servo if used. The unit is well made and functions well. I also had to place a spacer/washer on the back side of my servo mounting screws because the HS-5765 servo butted against the center brace on my XB. The mount the servo sits in is grooved out allowing the servo to sit flush but that caused my servo bottom to butt up against an aluminum center brace I use. The brace is manufactured by DGI. The stock plastic center brace might not have that problem.
